BHKi has planned the third outreach program at Chuka University targeting all students in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, particularly those enrolled in:

Biomedical Science and Technology
Biochemistry
Biotechnology
BSc. Biology
Computer Science
- The event will take place on 25th January, 2023 at the Student’s Business and Recreational Center, from 12 PM-3 PM.

Invited speakers include Bioinformatics, Open science, and Data science experts specialized in the -omics. They will share with the students the areas/fields of employment they can pursue after completing their undergraduate degree, skills they should strive to acquire, projects they can work on, and resources that are available to them. The proposed program for the day is shown below.

The Bioinformatics Hub of Kenya has planned an initiative which is incorporating universities which are providing Biomedical Sciences and its principles (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, and Biology),in Kenya. The event is scheduled to take place on 26th January, 2023 at the university’s Business and Recreation Center, second floor.
